Castles, outdoor activities, ancient woodland, lakes, rivers and top-tier dining are all easily accessible from the Hoath House - Luna Domes Site.
Located in Edenbridge, Chiddingstone Hoath, West Kent, Hoath House is a privately owned Manor house, owned by the Streatfield family, brimming with history. The oldest part of the house dating back to 1350 is situated on 20 acres of land boasting show gardens and natural woodland. Being in line with the local history, Hoath House is located just 8 minutes from Chiddingstone Castle, Hever Castle and Penshurst Place as well as many other local tourist attractions such as Groombridge Place, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Sissinghurst Castle, Spa Valley Railway, and many more.
The site is easily accessible from London with travel time under 1 hour from London by train or car. The site is also only 35 minutes from Gatwick Airport.
Each dome has been placed in a well thought-out location on the site to allow privacy along with amazing picturesque country side views of what is known as the Garden of England. The domes are spaced over 100 meters apart and are surrounded by natural grass plains and woodland allowing our guests to unwind in a calm and peaceful environment, situated amongst nature and wildlife.
The domes are self catering although offer a level of comfortable luxury that you would typically find in a high end hotel, whilst staying in touch with our core roots of offering a unique boutique glamping experience. The experience has been designed to be in keeping with the site, history and rural surroundings.
Each private accommodation boasts a bespoke raised decking area with a variety of dining and lounge seating which is gently lit in the evening.
Inside your dome you will be invited by a spacious but cosy, relaxed area with a kitchenette, dressing area with storage, dinning area, luxury beds and the most comfortable bean bag lounger.
The domes are functional all year round and the seasons offer such unique experiences of our glamping site, all whilst being able to gaze out at the beautiful views and wildlife. Summer may find you relaxing out on your private decking area, having a drink or BBQ and soaking up the sun or even venturing to a local pub garden. Whilst in the winter we have no doubt that you'll enjoy the warmth and comfort of our log burner.

Knole Dome & Scotney have covered wood fired hot tub on a seperate raised decking whilst Chartwell Dome has an open air wood fired hot tub that is on a connected rasied decking. Both hot tubs have air and water jets.
You are spoilt for choice! Dozens of local foot paths lead from the site that traverse local views, where you will likely come across wildlife such as wild deer, rabbits and birds of prey. We recommend using footpathmap.co.uk to find your way around.
Cycling is also a popular option with many local cycle routes and if you're willing to travel by car, bike parks and outdoor activities centres such as Kingdom with its amazing Treehouse Cafe and walking route or Bedgebury Pinetum which boasts 10km of family track and 12km of off-road single track with Red & Black runs.
There are many parks to enjoy locally with the most famous being Knole Park with hundreds of wild deer. This spot is also home to Knole House and the equally famous Chartwell House, the family home of Sir Winston Churchill.
If you're feeling more adventurous, rock climbing is available in Tunbridge Wells, Yoga can be found at Kingdom around the corner from the site, river sports are available in Tonbridge.
Set in the heart of the land of King Henry the 8th, there is plenty of immediate local history such as Hever Castle and Penshurst Place which boast award winning gardens along with offering a range of activities, for all ages, throughout the year. There are also a wide range of attractions to fill your days with from vintage railways to strolling around the Spa town of Tunbridge Wells. Hoath House lends itself to being in immediate location of so many local attractions but is also shy of an hour from the well-known coastal towns of Brighton and Hastings. Fine dining restaurants, gastro pubs, world cuisine, the local options are endless. Inspired by allowing our guests to relax and connect with local surroundings, we highly recommend our local gastro pubs which have the option of both indoor and outdoor seating.
If you're looking for a local farm shop to enjoy fresh treats in your dome then head to Falconhurst Farm Shop in Markbeech. This is a few minutes drive or a 10 minute cycle.
Celebrating something special or want to go upmarket? Royal Tunbridge Wells has a huge list of top tier restaurants such as Thackeries, The Twenty Six, Coco Retro, The Beacon and The Ivy.
If you are hungry for World Cuisine, we recommend Kitsu for Sushi, Sucheera's for Thai, Havet for Turkish, Junahki for Indian, Dragon Tan for Chinese, Townhouse for tapas, Il Vesuvio for Italian.
We currently operate a 2 night minimum stay policy over school holidays and for Friday and Saturday arrivals due to running costs of the domes.
However 1 night gaps that appear in the diary inbetween unavailable dates are still available to be booked.
Chartell, Hever & Knole booking calendar is open to 27th December 2022. We release monthly dates at least 3 months in advance.
Scotney is available to book weekends until 2023 then fully open all week round until June 2023. Please contact us for bookings beyond this.
