Dan, originally from the local town of Tonbridge, grew up around the local area until he moved to France at the age of 12 spending the next 6 years in rural Brittany studying at school living mostly a very outdoors agricultural and woodland life. At the age of 18 he moved back to the UK to seek adventure and fell in love with the night life industry which then led him to live in the Balearic Islands for a period before travelling around the world. In 2006 Dan settled back in the UK and started his first business called Party Doctors, based within the event production and party planning sector. The business grew and evolved over the years to become one of the biggest and most unique of its type in the UK leading Dan to other business avenues and opportunities.
Dan decided to sell the main company in 2019 to focus more on family and other business interests. Given Dan’s love of adventure, the outdoors and a rather interesting skill set learnt from 12 years of running an events company, Dans passion was to create a static business that encompassed his interests and skills rather than being a money driven enterprise, but thrived on positive feedback, that shared and created memorable experiences for clients and guests. During a brief period of relaxation, he noticed a growth in the glamping market whilst researching places to visit himself. With the drive and passion to build a guest experience in line with Dan’s interests and core values, he put the wheels in motion to create what us now known as Luna Domes.
